Charles Williams Church in Wales Primary School delivered a project, Our School, Roots to Heritage, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to celebrate its 300th anniversary. As part of the project, volunteers undertook research at Gwent Archives, looking at the school's collections including registers and logbooks (Victorian period onwards), maps, school architectural plans and the will of Charles Williams, the benefactor and founder of the school.
